As we are looking to expand our services offerings outside Taranaki region, we are looking for Senior & Lead Engineers with background in Energy and Infrastructure (ideally water) to join our team in Taupo or Auckland.
About you
You will be an experienced Senior / Lead Engineer with passion for working on diverse projects and delivering engineering excellence in the areas of oil & gas, manufacturing, dairy, infrastructure, and heavy industries.
You will bring the following key skills to the role:
- Technical Expertise: A high level of proficiency in your engineering discipline, with the capability to develop innovative solutions and oversee complex projects from conception to completion. CPEng or similar within your own discipline.
- Client Engagement: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Proven experience in articulating technical concepts clearly, influencing stakeholders, and effectively selling ideas to diverse audiences.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong business insight with experience in project budgeting, cost estimation, and financial management. Ability to align engineering solutions with business objectives to drive profitability and growth.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including mentoring junior engineers, fostering a collaborative team environment, and leading projects to successful outcomes.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: A proactive approach with a desire to identify and pursue new business opportunities. Willingness to take initiative to expand our services and contribute to the company's growth in the New Zealand market.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports, proposals, and presentations tailored to various audiences.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to work across multiple disciplines and industries, with a readiness to adapt to changing project requirements and environments.
